Wednesday the 22nd July saw us on an early morning Tench session at a small syndicate water we belong to in deepest Leicestershire. After trying mussels & I have to admit it, a dreaded pop up for a couple of hours with the method feeder & 2mm crab pellets.I switched to double sweetcorn on the 14 hook & loosefed over the top. Thirty minutes later the swingtip jumped into life & a lovely 6lb 3oz Tinca was on the unhooking mat.
After another hour and three quarters we were in again with a 4lb 15oz beauty, in-between times we had some pristine Rudd, so all in all a good session.
